Job Description

The New Year is just around the corner and we all know it's never too early to make resolutions. If planning your next teaching adventure is on your list, then here's your chance to make it come true!

Apply now, attend a Skype interview with the school Director and teach in Italy from January. (If not sooner).

Evocation EFL works with schools all over Italy. Let us know which parts of Italy you prefer. They are all looking for teachers, so you will have a good chance with us. Please note: most schools have not yet decided their requirements for January. They generally tell us their needs in December. But we'd like to hear from you now so that we have good candidates ready when the time comes. And make clear when you can start, as we sometimes get urgent requests for an ASAP start.

You will typically teach General English or Business English to classes of adults and young learners, including in-company classes. There will be around 25 teaching hours per week, leaving plenty of time to enjoy life in Italy.

Salaries are generally in the range 1200-1400 euros net per month, in other words, that is what you actually receive after deductions for tax etc. Outside the bigger cities, the cost of living is relatively low. So for example, you wouldn't need to pay more than 250-300 euros/month to rent a flat. The schools will do their best to help you find suitable accommodation and anything else you may need to ensure a smooth transition and a pleasant stay in Italy.

Usually these are contracts that end in June or July 2019 with the possibility of renewal.

Salary and Benefits:

- salaries in the range of 1200-1400 euros net per month
- some schools offer additional benefits, such as end of contract bonus, flight reimbursement, airport pickup, paid travel etc. We'll inform you about these in particular cases.
- great teaching experiences in excellent language schools in Italy
- ongoing support to help you adjust to life in Italy, including assistance with accommodation when arriving
- initial and ongoing training to improve your teaching skills
- experience in teaching exam preparation classes for internationally recognised language exams such as IELTS and Cambridge
- exposure to and training in new ways of teaching

Requirements:

- your spoken English must be of native level standard
- you need to hold a CELTA or Trinity TESOL or equivalent
- degree - BA or above
- you must be entitled to live and work in the EU
- if you hold a driving licence and/or teach the Cambridge exams, it will be a plus.
